Back in mid-January, the GNN Poll asked readers about the type of winter they were experiencing and if there was any reason for concern about the conditions of the golf courses where they work once spring arrived.
Two-thirds of respondents, or 67 per cent, said there was no reason for concern, while 33 per cent said there was reason to be concerned.
Spring has arrived early in many parts of the country. Tarps are coming off greens and in many cases, golf courses are already open for play.
It’s time for an update with most getting a spring look at how the golf course came through winter.
How would you describe the condition of the golf course where you work or play now that winter’s over? That’s the question in this week’s poll.
