The question coming into this season was whether golf operations could keep up the pace of 2020 when the game was one of the few choices for recreation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Golf was acknowledged as a game that lent itself to social distancing. Other features were used to keep both golfers and staff members safe and the industry thrived in 2020.
Although much of the country went through a third wave of coronavirus and provincial governments responded with various degrees of lockdown earlier this year, those restrictions have since began to ease in many regions.
With more and more businesses and other forms of recreation coming back as these restrictions ease, we’d like to hear how the golf operation where you work or play is doing in rounds played compared to a year ago.
That begins with the month just finished. How would you describe the number of rounds put through in June at the golf operation where you work/play as opposed to the same month in 2020?
That’s the question in this week’s GNN Poll.
