The price at the pumps last week continued to vex drivers across the country who were already dealing with runaway inflation that has jacked up the price of essentials such as groceries over the past few months and it shows no sign of slowing down.
Gas prices, for example, are expected to continue their ascent to new highs, so it’s little wonder that a survey done by the Angus Reid Institute finds just over half of Canadians (53 per cent) believing they can’t keep up with the rising cost of living.

Much to the chagrin of those who feel stretched to the limit financially, businesses must deal with the rising cost of goods, as well, and that will likely be reflected in the prices of everything from food and beverage to pro shop items.
