It’s been well over a year since COVID-19 took a grip on Canada, but there are at least signs that the situation is taking a turn for the positive.
Various provincial governments have announced the easing of restrictions recently, including the opening of golf courses in Ontario.
One notable exception is Manitoba, where new public health orders to help slow the spread of COVID-19 have been extended to June 12.
All of this news, whether it’s optimistic summer reopening plans or stay-at-home orders, comes as the Canadian golf industry prepares for its peak season when traditionally many businesses would be bringing on board seasonal and part time staff, many of them students.
