Craig Dutton recently sent us a comment to let GNN know that Pheasant Glen in Qualicum Beach, B.C., is in the midst of a major bunker revetting renovation. The goal is to reduce maintenance and improve playability through the wet season.
With seven completed, renovations will continue on the remaining 12, with the plan to complete the entire job in time for the Canadian Senior Championship in 2023. You can read more here.
Meanwhile, improvements and upgrades continue at Tarandowah Golf Club in Springfield, Ont., where new paths, clubhouse renovations and patio expansion are taking place.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic continuing, some golf courses aren’t being shy about loosening the purse strings and investing back into their operations.
How about where you work or play? Is it making any significant upgrades, renovations or improvements in 2021? That’s the question for this week’s GNN Poll.
