It’s time for that annual trek up Magnolia Lane, but it will be in the imaginations of just about everybody since there will be no patrons at Augusta National for this week’s Masters.
That was made necessary by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as was the November date.
The traditional first men’s major of the year is the last men’s major in 2020. A spring rite is now an autumn rite and that means less daylight in which to play.
The Par 3 Contest has been cancelled and the next Masters is only about five months away, if all goes to plan.
Augusta will not only look different in the fall, but could very well play different than it does in the spring.
Are these differences and others compared to what we’re used to diminish your interest in this year’s Masters or is it so unique and different that this week’s proceedings from Augusta are must-see TV?
That’s the question in this week’s GNN Poll.
