Considering what we’ve been through the past two years, it wouldn’t be wise to think that Covid-19 is a thing of the past.
However, it has eased its grip on golf businesses as far as restrictions go and those within the golf industry are travelling more, be it by car or plane, to take part in meetings, conferences and education sessions.
It is preferable to see people face to face, rather than on a computer screen as we did during the many virtual sessions that took place during the pandemic. There’s little doubt that virtual sessions were important, but how important are they going forward?
Consider the price of gas these days might make a virtual session more attractive than a long road trip, by car or plane. The runaway inflation that we’re currently experiencing could jack up the cost of meals, etc., on that road trip.
Are virtual sessions a thing of the past, or are they still necessary?
With Covid-19 easing its grip on businesses, how often will you take part in virtual meetings, conferences, etc.?
That’s the question in this week’s GNN Poll.
