New Facility I’m Joining Offers Plenty Of Opportunity

January 24, 2019 By Tiffany Gordon

I’ve just made a major move to Blue Devil Golf Club, but I’ll still be part of the Golf Channel Golf Academy with Bob McArthur and Paul Horton. The three of us are partners in that venture and I’ll continue to be involved at Heritage Pointe.

Blue Devil is an exciting opportunity. Slade King, the COO of Play Golf Calgary facilities, and head professional Blake Clayton approached me in the fall. They’re looking to build a brand and a name and the golf course is busy and a great place for programs and events.

They’re marketing their nine-hole course as a junior golf course, but realistically, it’s a fantastic development golf course for beginners, women, juniors, couples and seniors. I look at it as a huge opportunity to do what I’ve always wanted to do, which is grow the game with development programs.

I’ve got a client base at Heritage Pointe that I’ll still maintain and cater to – my partnership with Bob and Paul is near and dear to me as is my relationship with the Golf Channel.

I’ve been a freelancer for over a year and both Bob and Paul were so encouraging when I talked to them. They told me I need to be busy and want to be busy.

Besides the nine-hole course, there’s an 18-hole course and a learning academy, so I have no doubt they will keep me busy just as Bob and Paul predicted.
