Warm Weather Has Golfers Pumped For This Weekend’s Calgary Show

March 21, 2019 By Tiffany Gordon

The Calgary consumer golf show run by the PGA of Alberta goes this weekend in Hall B of the BMO Centre.

The Edmonton show was a couple of weeks ago and they got some good traction there and now, there’s good buzz heading into the Calgary show.

The good weather we’ve been experiencing in Calgary has had a positive effect, especially compared to the cold we had in February. Now, people are excited to be outside and feel the warmth and the sunshine.

The ranges in Calgary have picked up quite a bit and the beauty of Calgary is that golfers love to go have a coffee, hit some balls and hang out and talk to other golfers.

From a show point of view, they’re going to be happy to try some new gear and get out and talk to one another. Golfers love talking to other golfers.

The season was cut off so abruptly last year and anyone I talk to, whether they run a company tournament or they’re looking to book a trip, they’re excited to get going again.

It’s all positive for the golf environment at this point and good timing heading into this weekend’s show in Calgary.
