G&G Brands Seeks Full-Time Customer Service And Sales Representative

G&G Brands is seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join its team as a full-time customer service and sales representative.

The successful candidate will deliver customer service excellence to our current and prospective national account base and sales force. Competitive in nature, the applicant will also source new internal sales opportunities within a designated sales territory.

This position will play a key role in generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of our corporate and retail divisions within the province of British Columbia.

Since 1991, G&G Brands has been a leading Canadian wholesale supplier of lifestyle and sporting goods, specializing in the golf and corporate promotional industries. The company is looking to invest in a committed candidate seeking long-term employment and opportunities for growth within a family-owned and operated business.

Customer Service Responsibilities

Field customer and sales professionals’ inquiries for retail and corporate sales divisions.

Effectively manage current customer account base.

Customer database management.

Consistent and timely communication on a daily/weekly basis with sales force.

Convey product knowledge, pricing and programming to our customer base where required.

Full cycle order entry from product inquiry to final shipment.

Run weekly/monthly inventory and sales reports and distribute to sales force and customers as required.

Handle customer complaints, pricing discrepancies, and damaged goods on a case-by-case basis

Provide professional, fair and productive problem-solving resolutions as it relates to customer or sales representative issues.

Collaborate internally to improve existing reporting methods and company procedures.

Sales Responsibilities

Product knowledge specialist.

Participate in all aspects of the sales process (generating and engaging leads, communicating with partners, executing promotions, processing orders and updating records).

Provide customer sales support for in-person schedules and walk-in appointments.

Managing a defined customer list that transcends the corporate and retail/specialty sales divisions as follows:

B.C.-based corporate distributor business development

Tour-and zone-based business opportunities in the golf division

B.C.-based business development of Resort, Brewery, Winery, and Tourism industries

Initiate sales calls, prepare presentations and build long-lasting relationship with current and prospective customers.

Forecast sales, develop unique strategies and achieve success against sales targets/KPIs.

Build and maintain sales analysis reports and set goals to attain incremental growth

Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.

Report and provide feedback to management.

Skills/Requirements

Must be fluent in English (French would be an asset).

Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Proven inside or outside sales experience.

Self-motivated and driven.

Proven ability to create and grow client relationships.

Demonstrate ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities.

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Works well within a team environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

Possess a valid B.C. driver’s licence and a clean driving record.
