Gilwood Golf and Country Club Requires Superintendent

The Gilwood Golf and Country Club in Slave Lake, Alta., is seeking a golf course superintendent.

Job Description/Duties

Overall Supervision of maintenance facilities and golf facility.

Direct supervision of all maintenance staff including hiring and dismissal.

Applicators licence mandatory.

Budgeting and financial reporting duties required.

Overall equipment maintenance and servicing.

Irrigation repair/operation.

General golf course maintenance, as required.

Qualifications/Required Skills

Member of the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association.

Valid Chemical applicators’ licence for Alberta.

Access to a vehicle.

Graduate of a turf grass management program or equivalent preferred.

Additional Information

Temporary position Sept. 1- Oct. 31, with offer to renew to full contract after the assessment period.

Salary: $52,500, seven month term.
