Hendrick van der Geld has been named general manager and secretarty at the Club at North Halton in Georgetown, Ont.
He served as the general manager at Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club, Wyndance Golf Club and Whitevale Golf Club. He also served eight years, with the last two as club manager at Beacon Hall Golf Club in Aurora. Ont.
He has taken an active role with the Club Managers Association of Canada (CMAC), serving on the Ontario Branch board of directors and chairing the Career Awareness Committee.
He is also a Class ‘A’ Member of the PGA of Canada and is currently serving his second term on the Ontario PGA board of directors, while chairing the Strategic Projects Committee.
He brings a diverse background in the golf industry including strategic planning, communications, operations, financial management, sales and marketing, food and beverage, pro shop operations and curling and has built a reputation for delivering exceptional member and guest experience.
His first day will be Monday.
