The Rosedale Golf Club in Toronto, established in 1893, is looking for an associate superintendent.
Job Description/Duties
As a key member of the course maintenance team, the associate superintendent works collaboratively with the course superintendent and leads in the daily oversight of all maintenance and agronomic practices of the golf course and grounds.
Responsibilities include daily scheduling, record keeping to meet both internal and government standards, human resource related items and all duties related to operations.
The successful candidate will be able to train, lead and motivate a productive team with an emphasis to incorporate, always follow and promote safe work practices while ensuring the club’s values guide the operation daily.
Qualifications/Required Skills
The successful candidate will have graduated from a recognized turf program and be a motivated team player who has a passion for the game and golf course maintenance in a positive work environment to ensure the course is presented in the best playing condition possible each day.
