Wascana Country Club Seeks Director Of Food And Beverage

Wascana Country Club in Regina is seeking a director of food and beverage to oversee all F&B operations, with gross annual sales of approximately $ 1.3 million.

Passion with a focus on continuous improvement and a drive to push service standards to the next level are the qualities being sought.

The goal of the club is to create outstanding memories for the members and this position will be a critical leader in achieving that goal. The successful candidate will inspire the team to uphold these standards every day and will work to ensure that members and their guests leave with a memorable experience that they will rave about.

Qualifications/Responsibilities

Diploma/degree in a hospitality field with three to five years in leadership experience in a similar role.
Proven track record of mentorship, teaching and driving a learning culture within your staff.

Private club experience and Sommelier or Sommelier in-training considered an asset.

Proven fluency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and comprehensive knowledge of food and wines to ensure margins are met. Working knowledge of Jonas POS considered an asset

Proven track record in developing and maintaining service standard recruitment and leadership of a food and beverage team consisting of approximately 35+ staff members.

Provide consistently high-quality food and beverage service to the club’s members and guests for day-to-day dining, club events and private functions.

Maintain regular email/marketing communication with the membership to advise them of social events and pertinent F&B information in a timely manner.

Under the direction of the CEO , develop/implement annual plans, operating reports, forecasts and budgets for the F&B department.

Ensure that the training of all F&B staff is consistently completed with the intake of each team member and updated regularly to obtain and maintain superior service levels at all times and in all outlets.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, with a comprehensive and attractive benefits package.
