Another 70 For Henderson At Midway Point Of AIG Women’s Open

August 5, 2022 By GNN

Brooke Henderson

Brooke Henderson shot her second consecutive score of one-under 70 on Friday and goes into the weekend in a tie for 17th at the AIG Women’s Open, the final women’s major of the season.

At two under at the midway point, Henderson is six shots behind leader In Gee Chun, who carries a one-shot lead into the weekend.

Henderson birdied the second hole in Friday’s second round at Muirfield, but went back to even with a bogey on the par three fourth hole. Consecutive birdies on the next two holes left her two under at the turn before a bogey on 10. She parred the rest of the way.

Maude-Aimee Leblanc also shot a 70 on Friday, but at four over after the first two rounds, missed the cut by one shot.

The leaderboard is here.
