Edmonton’s Wil Bateman won the McCormick Open in a playoff on the Arizona-based Outlaw Tour on Thursday.
After a second round 62 on Wednesday, Bateman finished with a bogey-free 67 to force the playoff with Daniel Miernicki of Santee, Calif. Both players finished at 17 under over three rounds.
The win earned Bateman $11,500.
