Corey Conners birdied his final hole of the day to secure his third consecutive round of one-under 71 on Saturday at the Open Championship in St Andrews, Scotland.
Conners began his round with three birdies on his first nine of the day, but went back to even par with three bogeys, including the 16th and 17th holes, on his second nine before his final birdie on 18.
At three under, Conners goes into Sunday’s final round in a tie for 48th.
Viktor Hovland and two-time RBC Canadian Open champion Rory McIlroy share the lead at 16 under, four ahead of Cameron Smith and Cameron Young.
