Four Added To CP Women’s Open Field Through Monday Qualifier

Michelle Liu of Vancouver and American Gianna Clemente shot the low rounds of the day, each with a 72 at CP Women’s Open Monday qualifying at the Marshes Golf Club in Ottawa.

With a total of four spots available through the final qualifier, they will be joined in the field at Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club by Vanessa Zhang and Lucy Lin of Vancouver, who is now the youngest player to ever qualify for a CP Women’s Open at 12 years, seven months and 12 days.

With the addition of Liu, Zhang and Lin, the CP Women’s Open will now feature 18 Canadians in the field.
