The PGA of America has announced that the 2022 PGA Championship will not be played at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey. The R&A has also announced that it will not hold any of its championships at Trump’s Turnberry course in Scotland for “the foreseeable future” … Golf writer David McPherson tweeting that he is working in collaboration with the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame on a book about amateur standout Gary Cowan … Mike Weir has been added to the field for this week’s Sony Open in Hawaii … This week’s GNN Poll asks readers if job uncertainty in the golf business due to the COVID-19 pandemic caused them to delay an important purchase, such as a home.
