Brooke Henderson goes for a three-peat at this week’s Lotte Championship in Hawaii, an event she won in 2018 and 2019. It was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Alena Sharp, Jaclyn Lee and Anne-Catherine Tanguay are also playing … With the 2021 RBC Canadian Open cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, the RBC Heritage goes this week at Harbour Town with Corey Conners, Michael Gligic, Adam Hadwin, Mackenzie Hughes and Nick Taylor in the field … The MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute in Las Vegas is being played this week on the Korn Ferry Tour with Taylor Pendrith and Adam Svensson in the field. Stuart Macdonald starts the week as an alternate … The PGA Tour Champions schedule resumes on Friday at the Chubb Classic in Naples, Fla., where Mike Weir and Stephen Ames will tee it up … The Symetra Tour is at the Casino Del Sol Golf Classic in Tucson, Az., where Maddie Szeryk, Maude-Aimee Leblanc, Brittany Marchand, Rebecca Lee-Bentham and Samantha Richdale are in the field … Last week’s GNN Poll asked readers how seriously the golf operations where they work were affected by their provincial governments recently imposing restrictions in the battle against the “third wave” in the COVID-19 pandemic. The majority, or 77 per cent of respondents, said it’s no worse than 2020, 14 per cent said it’s very serious, with nine per cent saying they hadn’t been given any new restrictions … This week’s poll asks readers if they’ve ever dealt with a member or customer who went too far in protesting or resisting COVID-19 safety protocols, or even wearing mask?
