May 25, 2022 By GNN

Maude-Aimee Leblanc and Jeongeun Lee6 tied their opening match at the Bank of Hope LPGA Match Play in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

Lee was 2 up with a couple of birdies on her first four holes, but Leblanc got one back with a birdie on the seventh hole at Shadow Creek.

An eagle on the par five ninth hole and a birdie on the par four 10th put Leblanc 1 up, but Lee put it back to all square with a birdie on 12.

After both players bogeyed the par four 14th, Lee went 1 up with a par on the par four 15th, which Leblanc bogeyed. It was Lee’s turn to bogey on 16, while Leblanc parred the par five to put it back to all square.

Both players parred the remaining two holes.

The leaderboard is here.
