Coach of the Year finalists include Jamie Reimer of Golfuture YYC, Luke Workman of the Glencoe Golf and Country Club Teaching Centre and Randy Robb from the Mickelson National Golf Academy. Finalists for Retailer of the Year include Earl Grey Golf Club (Head pro Pat Wilmot), Fort McMurray Golf Club (Head pro Kyle Corriveau), Red Deer Golf and Country Club (Head pro Dean Manz), Silvertip Golf Resort (Head pro Chris Cooke) and Windermere Golf and Country Club (Head Pro Jason Hnatiw). Sales Rep of the Year finalists are Clive Grant (Forestar Golf/Miller Golf), Colin Gilliard (PING), Jason Plosz (Acushnet-FootJoy), Kristi Larson (KL Agency), Rick Lea (Cobra Puma Golf) and Tory Nilson (Callaway). Teacher of the Year finalists include Cody Yaremovich (Eagle Rock Golf Club), Derek Baker (Derek Baker Golf Academy), Jae Maegaard (Paradise Canyon Golf Resort), Josh Fleming (GOLFTEC Calgary Beacon Heights) and Todd Halpen (Golfuture YYC). Junior Leader of the Year finalists are Brady Karlson (Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club), Chad Feener (Leduc Golf Club), Derek Baker (Derek Baker Golf Academy), Nicola Jeffries (Willow Park Golf and Country Club) and Stephen Yanitski (Valley Ridge Golf Club). Crystal Shapka (Calgary Golf and Country Club), Michael Nutt (Kananaskis Country Golf Club), Rachel Wiebe (Windermere Golf and Country Club), Ryan Caines (Inglewood Golf and Country Club) and Tony Brown (Stewart Creek Golf and Country Club) are finalists for Apprentice Professional of the Year. Club Professional of the Year, Executive Professional of the Year and Class “A” Professional of the Year finalists will be announced on Friday … Mike Weir will tee off at in Friday’s first round of the Constellation Furyk and Friends event in Jacksonville, Fla., at 9:10 a.m. local time.
