The Jerry Anderson Memorial Golf Day will be held Monday, Sept. 26, with a 12 noon shotgun start at Cambridge Golf Club in Cambridge, Ont. The $115 per person fees includes golf, cart, use of the driving range and a steak dinner, with vegetarian option. All proceeds will be donated to the Cambridge Cobras junior golf program … Trevor Immelman will announce his Presidents Cup captain’s picks for the International team on Tuesday at 9 a.m. and the names could include any one of Adam Hadwin, Mackenzie Hughes and Taylor Pendrith. Corey Conners is already on the the team as an automatic pick. Davis Love III will announce his captain’s picks for the American team on Wednesday morning … The PGA of Canada team of Pierre-Alexandre Bedard, Kevin Stinson, Branson Ferrier, Gord Burns and manager Matt Mueller won the Four Nations Cup in South Africa, Herb Kohler, the golf course developer who built Whistling Straits, died Saturday at the age of 83.
