He also vaulted from 237th in the official world golf rankings to 143rd, with Svensson close behind in 147th … The Wyndham Championship is the regular season finale on tour with Conners, Hughes, Adam Hadwin, Pendrith, Svensson and Taylor currently projected to finish inside the top 125 in FedEx Cup standings and move on to the FedEx Cup playoffs. Michael Gligic and Roger Sloan are projected to finish 126th to 200th, which earns them a spot in the Korn Ferry Finals, where 25 players can get status on the PGA Tour … Brooke Henderson goes into this week’s AIG Women’s Open at Muirfield seeking her second consecutive major championship after winning the Amundi Evian Championship in France. She’ll be joined by Maude-Aimee Leblanc, fresh off her T8 finish at the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open. Henderson comes in to the final major of the year ranked fifth in the world. Leblanc moved up 28 spots in the rankings to 109th in the world this week … Canada’s only PGA Tour Champions event goes this week with the Shaw Charity Classic teeing it up at Calgary’s Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club.
