Albin Choi will tee it up at the final stage of Korn Ferry Tour Q-school later this week

Adam Hadwin, Taylor Pendrith, Roger Sloan, Adam Svensson and Nick Taylor are the Canadians in the field for this week’s World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba in Mexico … Stephen Ames and Mike Weir are at the second Charles Schwab Cup playoff event, the TimberTech Championship in Boca Raton, Fla., where the top 36 players on the Charles Schwab Cup Points afterwards move on to Charles Schwab Cup Championship, Nov. 11-14 in Phoenix. Weir is eighth on the points list and Ames is 22nd … The LPGA Tour is off until next week’s Pelican Women’s Championship in Belleair, Fla. The season-ending CME Group Tour Championship takes place a week later in Naples, Fla. … Toronto’s Albin Choi will be among the participants at this week’s final stage of Korn Ferry Tour Q-school, which gets underway Thursday in Savannah, Ga. The medalist at final stage (and ties) will receive fully exempt status for the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season. Finishers 2-10 (and ties) get exempt status through the second reshuffle period (approximately 12 starts) and will be subject to subsequent reshuffles. Finishers 11-40 (and ties) will receive exempt status through the first reshuffle period (approximately eight starts), and will be subject to subsequent reshuffles … Last week’s GNN poll asked readers how customers/members will react to rising prices due to inflation at the golf businesses where they work in 2022.
