Adam Hadwin will be the first Canadian to tee it up in Wednesday’s opening round of the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego. Hadwin will start at 10:10 a.m. local time on the 10th tee at Torrey Pines. All of the tee times are here … Vancouver’s Point Grey Golf and Country Club will host the CP Women’s Open Monday qualifier, before play gets underway at Shaughnessy … LIV Golf will not visit Canada this year. Here’s its 2023 schedule: Feb. 24-26, Playa Del Carmen, Mexico; March 17-19, Tucson; March 31-April 2, Orlando; April 21-23, Adelaide, Australia; April 28-30, Singapore: May 12-14, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; May 26-28, Washington, D.C.; June 30-July 2, Sotogrande, Spain, July 7-9, London, England; Aug. 4-6, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia; Aug. 11-13: Bedminster, New Jersey; Sept. 22-24, Sugar Grove, Illinois; Oct. 20-22; Nov. 3-5, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia … The PGA of Canada requires a championship operations assistant to work on a paid internship. For more information, click here … This week’s GNN Poll asks readers if the golf operation that employs them will keep memberships/daily fees status quo to last year or raise prices in 2023. As of this writing, 65 per cent of respondents said their places of employment were raising fees/membership slightly, with 29 per cent saying fee/memberships were going up a lot and six per cent saying fees will remain status quo to last year.
