Six More Players Move On To Monday Qualifier

May 30, 2022 By GNN

Six more players have qualified for next Monday’s final qualifier for the RBC Canadian Open at Oakdale Golf and Country Club in Toronto.

Brady Mckinlay of Lacombe, Alta., shot an even par 72 to take medalist honours on a windy day at Mickelson National Golf Club in Calgary, the fourth and final regional qualifier, on Monday.

Jeffrey Kang of Anaheim, Calif., shot a one-over 73 to finish solo second, with Carter Code and David Durbeniuk, both from Calgary, tied for third after each recorded a 74.

Carter Lewis and Dane Thorogood, both from Calgary, tied for fifth after each shot a 75.

A minimum of four players from the final qualifier at Oakdale gain entry into the RBC Canadian Open field at Toronto’s St. George’s Golf and Country Club later in the week.

The leaderboard is here.
