Roger Sloan shot a five-under 66 to open the Korn Ferry Tour Finals on Thursday at the Albertsons Boise Open in Idaho.
Sloan is seeking to finish the three-event Finals in the top 25 on the Eligibility Points List of those not already exempt in order to regain his status on the PGA Tour. He is tied for 17th, five shots off the lead, going into Friday’s second round in Boise.
Michael Gligic is tied for 46th at three under after he finished the first round with a 68 on Thursday.
