Spain Takes Two-Shot Lead At World Junior Girls Golf Championship

October 13, 2022 By GNN

Cold and wet conditions at Angus Glen Golf Club in Markham, Ont., couldn’t put the damper on Spain on Thursday at the World Junior Girls Golf Championship, where that team has taken a two-shot lead after 36 holes.

With Spain at five under, Sweden is second at three under. Canada 1 is fourth at five over, with Canada 2 tied for sixth at nine over.

Meja Őrtengren of Sweden leads the individual competition at five under, with Canadians Yeji Kwon, Angela Arora and Lauren Kim all tied for 10th at four over.
