Tour Roundup: Three Canadians Open In Vegas With 67s

October 6, 2022 By GNN

Adam Hadwin, Adam Svensson and Michael Gligic each shot a four-under 67 in Thursday’s first round of the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas.

With first round play suspended due to darkness, all three Canadians go into Friday’s second round in a tie for 21st, four shots off the lead held by Tom Hoge.

“I think when we get on the West Coast, obviously living in Phoenix, I’m comfortable in desert golf and see the lines pretty well. I get comfortable on these greens as well. I see them a lot better than some of the Bermuda greens we see, especially last week in Jackson,” said Hadwin.

The leaderboard is here.

LPGA Tour

Alena Sharp opened the LPGA Mediheal Championship in Somis, Calif., with an even par 72 that has her tied for 52nd going into Friday’s second round.

Maude-Aimee Leblanc has withdrawn.
