Blair Bursey of Gander, Nfld., finished with a one-over round of 71 and won the season-ending Reliance Properties DCBank Open at Uplands Golf Club in Victoria on Sunday.
Bursey finished at 10 under, claiming a one-shot victory over four players. He recorded four top five finishes earlier in the Mackenzie Tour–PGA Tour Canada season.
“It’ nice to get the rewards of the hard work,” said Bursey. “A lot of close calls, but it feels really nice and satisfying, to pull this one out despite having some difficulties over the last few days.”

Bursey finished second to Callum Davison of Duncan, B.C., on the tour season points list. Davison also takes Player of the Year honours.
Davison will be exempt for every tournament on the 2022 Mackenzie Tour. In addition, as the Player of the Year, he received an invitation to play in the 2022 RBC Canadian Open.
Finishing third through fifth were amateur Noah Steele of Kingston, Ont., Brendan Leonard of Cambridge, Ont., and Michael Blair of Ancaster, Ont. They will all be exempt on the 2021 Mackenzie Tour for part of the season and possess the ability to maintain status based on their early season performance.

Roger Sloan shot a final round, two under 70 on Sunday at the Sanderson Farms Championship in Jackson, Miss.
That left Sloan in a tie for 14th at 17 under. Corey Conners was another shot back in a tie for 17th as he also finished with a 70.
