Tour Roundup: Szeryk T1 After Three Rounds At LPGA Q-Series

December 3, 2022 By GNN

Maddie Szeryk had her second consecutive bogey-free effort and finished the third round of LPGA Q-Series on Saturday with a four-under 67 on the Crossings Course at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Ala.

At 12 under through three rounds, Szeryk is tied for the lead with American Riley Rennell.

“I made a couple birdies early and had a couple good par saves that kind of kept it going and then the back nine, I think I just hit every green and had lots of birdie looks, just the whole group was lipping out, but it was just very steady,” said Szeryk.

Selena Costabile is tied for 83rd at one over after she shot an even par 72 on the Falls Course on Saturday.

Both are hoping to finish inside the top 70 and ties on Sunday. If that happens, they move on to the second half of Q-Series next week in Dothan, Ala. Those who complete the first week of play, but don’t finish in the top 70 and ties receive Epson Tour status for 2023.

The leaderboard is here.

DP World Tour

Aaron Cockerill shot an even par 72 in Saturday’s third round of the DP World Tour’s South African Open Championship.

Cockerill is tied for 59th at two under through his first three rounds.

That leaderboard is here.

BNI Indonesian Masters

Toronto’s Richard T. Lee opened the third round of the BNI Indonesian Masters with three consecutive birdies and was three under through 17 holes when play was suspended due to weather.

At that point, Lee was tied for ninth at nine under.

Hero World Challenge

Corey Conners is tied for 19th after he shot an even par 72 on Saturday.
