Maddie Szeryk had her second consecutive bogey-free effort and finished the third round of LPGA Q-Series on Saturday with a four-under 67 on the Crossings Course at Magnolia Grove in Mobile, Ala.
At 12 under through three rounds, Szeryk is tied for the lead with American Riley Rennell.
“I made a couple birdies early and had a couple good par saves that kind of kept it going and then the back nine, I think I just hit every green and had lots of birdie looks, just the whole group was lipping out, but it was just very steady,” said Szeryk.
Selena Costabile is tied for 83rd at one over after she shot an even par 72 on the Falls Course on Saturday.
Both are hoping to finish inside the top 70 and ties on Sunday. If that happens, they move on to the second half of Q-Series next week in Dothan, Ala. Those who complete the first week of play, but don’t finish in the top 70 and ties receive Epson Tour status for 2023.
