Tour Roundup: Weir One Shot Off Lead At Champions Event, Hadwin T9 In Vegas

Mike Weir opened the Constellation Furyk & Friends event in Jacksonville, Fla., with a four-under 68 that left him tied for fourth, just one shot off the lead shared by Steve Flesch, Jim Furyk and Rob Labritz.

Stephen Ames shot a 75 and is tied for 59th.

PGA Tour

Adam Hadwin fired his second consecutive four-under 67 in Friday’s second round of the Shriners Children’s Open in Las Vegas.

Hadwin goes into the weekend in a tie for ninth at eight under, four shots off the lead held by Mito Pereira.

LPGA Tour

Alena Sharp shot a one-under 71 in Friday’s second round at the LPGA Mediheal Championship in Somis, Calif.

She goes into the weekend in a tie for 46th at one under.

LIV Golf

Eugenio Lopez-Chacarra, Richard Bland and Branden Grace all share the lead after the first round in Bangkok, after each shot bogey-free, seven-under 65s on Friday.

In team play, the Fireballs Golf Club team of Sergio Garcia, Abraham Ancer, Carlos Ortiz and Lopez-Chacarra have a one-shot lead.

Epson Tour

Selena Costabile is tied for 40th at the midway point of the Epson Tour Championship, where she shot a one-under 71 in Friday’s second round.

Costabile is five under through two rounds.
