DryJoys Tour LTS From FootJoy Made To Be Lightweight And Allow Mobility

September 18, 2017 By GNN

DryJoys Tour LTS, from FootJoy features a new construction and fabric to reduce weight and allow mobility while still remaining waterproof.

Other jackets can have as many as 24 panels and 27 or more seams, but the new LTS jacket has only five panels and six seams to reduce weight and bulk, while improving mobility and eliminating places for water to gather.

Preserving temperature-regulating properties was the next objective.

Partnering with ThermoLite to create a specially-developed ThermoLite bonded liner using hollow core fibres made this possible. When conditions are cool, the hollow core fibres trap body heat inside the core and when conditions are warm, the fibres wick moisture and expel heat.

With the golf swing in mind, FootJoy has developed a three-layer bonded fabric, which boasts soft, comfortable and quiet attributes, as well as four-way stretch that moves with the golf swing.
