Brendan Leonard of Cambridge, Ont., fired a bogey-free, six-under 66 and then won the RBC Canadian Open Ontario regional qualifier in a playoff that lasted four holes against David Li Sheman of Aurora, Ont. Because of field size at the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, Leonard earned direct entry into the RBC Canadian Open, which prevented him from making a tough decision.
